The Associate Vice President of IST Readiness is a strategic leader responsible for driving comprehensive readiness and alignment across our IST Readiness team. This role will oversee the readiness strategy that prepares our field team—including Sales, Service, and Professional Learning, along with other cross-functional teams —to successfully sell, implement, and support both existing and new product lines. The AVP of IST Readiness will ensure that all products, whether newly launched, updated, or enhanced, are equipped with clear and effective training, resources, and guidance so the field team can effectively meet customer needs. This leader will bring cross-functional groups together to develop and execute a robust readiness plan that reflects organizational goals, maximizes customer impact, and strengthens the company’s reputation for excellence in customer success. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving transformative change, modernizing learning practices, and leveraging innovative strategies to align readiness efforts with broader organizational goals.
The Impact You'll Have:
- Create and lead a unified readiness strategy that aligns the combined IST Readiness team to ensure the field team (Sales, Service, and Professional Learning) is well-prepared for product launches, updates, and customer engagements.
- Oversee the creation of training plans, resources, and implementation guidelines that ensure the field team is fully equipped to sell, serve, and support new, updated, and existing products effectively.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and other teams to ensure that readiness efforts are integrated into broader company goals, customer strategies, and product roadmaps.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for readiness efforts, measuring the effectiveness of training and program execution to ensure continuous improvement and customer success.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to refine readiness programs, making adjustments based on field team needs and evolving customer demands.
- Encourage collaboration across GTM and IST Readiness teams to share knowledge, resources, and best practices, ensuring a consistent and high-impact approach to readiness across all teams.
- Drive innovation in readiness strategies by incorporating insights and best practices from industries outside EdTech/K-12, challenging traditional approaches to learning and development.
- Establish mechanisms to gather feedback from Sales, Service, and Professional Learning teams, using insights to inform training content and program improvements.
- Lead transformational initiatives to modernize learning practices, focusing on scalable, technology-driven solutions that increase engagement and readiness across teams.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the IST Readiness leaders, fostering alignment with readiness strategy goals and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Ensure all product lines (new, updated, or enhanced) are thoroughly prepared and communicated to the field team, addressing product-specific training needs and ensuring successful customer engagement.
