Job Description SummaryAs the Associate Product Sales Specialist - Diagnostic Cardiology, you will be assigned to a specific market and will partner with segment specialist Product Sales Specialist’s (PSS) to drive funnel creation, increased visibility, and ultimately increased market win rate across all Anesthesia and Perioperative Monitoring product segments. Responsibilities will vary across timelines and markets and will include various activities up to and including creating, progressing, and closing sales opportunities. Additionally, based on market demands, some aspects of the role may include providing deep value to a developed sales territory currently occupied by Product Sales Specialists. The design of the role includes developing the Associate Product Sales Specialist into a full line Product Sales Specialist (PSS).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Product Sales Specialist (PSS) to cover a large territory more fully.
    • Drive visibility in assigned territory to include but not limited to cold calling, customer canvasing, collaboration with all sales functions
    • Drive orders funnel creation.
    • Support the Product Sales Specialist (PSS) in assigned geography on sales activities and campaigns to drive order funnel.
    • Accountable for owning accurate orders forecast in assigned geography.
    • Develop customer relationships ensuring strong partnership and understanding of customer’s needs.
    • Deliver the annual orders operating plan.
    • Will broaden knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups to execute policy/strategy. Still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
    • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
    • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require commercial knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
    • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE HealthCare. Explains technical information to others.
