Job Description
The Associate Director, BI is an emerging leader dedicated to driving the success of their designated vertical or area within the Customer Success organization. This role requires a working knowledge of both the business and technical sides of BI, with a focus on managing people, processes, and technology to build high-performing teams and deliver valuable, revenue-generating solutions. The Associate Director, BI enjoys working directly with clients to help develop BI solutions and supports the evolution of the BI organization in their region, transforming it into a lead- and revenue-generating function while helping upskill associates to become BI consultants.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing a team of BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Passionate about helping upskill the associates on their team to become BI Consultants.
- Sets team priorities and allocates resources with the guidance, support, and oversight from senior BI leadership.
- Works directly with clients to develop and deliver BI solutions that meet their needs and drive business value.
- Supports lead and revenue generation efforts by responding to requests and proactively identifying gaps in servicing or unmet needs for both BI and NIQ.
- Skilled at building strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.
- Apply knowledge of BI tools, data analysis, and data management to solve client challenges and optimize BI solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and evolution of the BI organization, aligning BI efforts with broader business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and BI languages (Power Query, SQL, Python). Working knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Prior experience in people management is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to address complex business challenges.

Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of $92,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
