JOB PURPOSEÂ
The primary purpose of the Associate Customer Business Manager (ACBM) position is to develop, and nurture sustained business relationships with our top 4 hard discount retail partners: Aldi, Lidl, Grocery Outlet and Save-A-Lot. The ACBM will look after our Foods business unit.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a Joint Business Plan, negotiating Category and Brand priorities, and driving profitable sales volume. The ACBM will also have responsibility for providing business insights, financial and demand forecasting, negotiating product distribution, and developing near-term and long-term strategies for mutual growth and partnership. A strong history of working with Unilever cross functional partners is critical for this role.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEÂ
Manage relationship with category managers and interface with customersâ various functional departments. Manage NSV and trade investment by category; Manage new item sell-in, influence planograms, and retail initiatives.Â
Develop and implement Foods strategy for Drug & Hard Discounts channelsÂ
Drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters.âŻÂ
Drive trade investment effectiveness and efficiencyâŻÂ
Coordinate annual planning effortsâŻÂ
Consistently communicate status against objectives and identify risks and opportunitiesâŻÂ
Coordinate Joint Business Plans with key accountsâŻâŻÂ

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDÂ
 Experiences & QualificationsÂ
- Undergraduate degree is requiredÂ
- 3-5 yearsâ Customer Business Manager experience preferred; Account Management/Customer management experience Â
- Working knowledge of omni-channel capabilities and eCommerce capabilitiesÂ
- Able to deal with complexity, competing demands and change in an ever-evolving accountâŻÂ
- Working knowledge of Circana, Nielsen, AMPS and Customer POS Data is strongly desiredÂ
- Must be skilled in verbal and written communicationÂ
- Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externallyÂ
- Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative mannerÂ
- Complexity and time management challengesÂ
- Must have strong relationship building and management skillsÂ
- Ability to think creatively in building out promotional plans and influence non-traditional customerÂ
- Has ability to think outside the box, Is "scrappy", and has ability to figure things outÂ
- Understands that promotional guardrails are in place, but offers programs and solutions that deliver results despite those rulesÂ
- Ability to lead cross-functional business team to drive robust promotional plansÂ
