About the Job
The Field CTO Technology Strategy team seeks an AI Technology Strategist with expertise in AI, Generative AI, Predictive AI and LLM training/inferencing to join our growing team. You will address customer and partner issues, explore new technologies, and enhance our product strategy by working cross-functionally with core teams across our Engineering team and the upstream open source community. You will need to engage with industry and AI open source communities (CNCF, OpenAI, etc.) within this role. Exemplary communication and teamwork skills are essential in our geographically distributed organization. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-growing technology alongside some of the brightest minds in open source.
What You Will Do
Document customer/partner problems and develop market analysis by working with Field CTO and Chief Architects
Manage internal communities across Sales, Product Engineering, Product Management, Portfolio Strategy, Ecosystem and Marketing, on specific technology domains
Research and document competitive solutions for positioning
Respond to customer inquiries, deliver customer presentations, demos, and support the overall innovation process
Support sales and marketing activities including creating presentations, blogs, demos, and other technical collateral
What You Will Bring
10+ years in enterprise software (product management, engineering, technical marketing, or a similar roles)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong understanding of AI (Generative, Predictive, Machine Learning)
Experience with open source technologies and business models
Ability to decipher technical requirements and use cases
Experience with open source projects
Ability to work in a persuasion-driven cross-functional environment with a distributed remote and global workforce
Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and ability to handle multiple priorities
Bachelor's or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
The following are considered a plus:
Experience with RHEL AI, Instructlab and/or Red Hat Openshift AI
Experience with model training, Fine tuning/RAG and inferencing libraries/frameworks.
Experience with enterprise AI deployment
Familiarity or experience with popular AI application runtimes and application frameworks (vLLM, HuggingFace transformers, PyTorch and other)
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
