Account Manager – Western Austria
About the Role:
This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in Austria. As part of the DACH Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing and optimizing the performance of our largest sales accounts in the Austria region.
What You Will Do:
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy regarding the national, managed key accounts as well as support of the selected stores in Western Austria.
- Communicate needs/desires of customers from Austria to the DACH management team and develop customized solutions for customer needs.
- Budget planning and responsibility.
- Independent forecasting and action planning to achieve the sales target.
- Independent management of negotiations (annual agreements, action planning, etc.).
- Continuous analysis of market data and preparation of sales reports (reporting to Sales Director DACH).
- Building and maintaining customer relationships at all levels.
- Working closely with internal teams such as Marketing, KAM's and Logistics, to achieve targets.
- Identifying new sales channels and market opportunities.
- Maintaining and optimizing POS with responsible customers.
- Promotion deployment planning and reporting.
- Planning and execution of trainings.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales / Marketing.
- At least 5 years of work experience in Account Management within the online retail landscape.
- Prior experience in building effective sales strategies.
- Result-oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Team player, open minded, curious with a can-do mentality.
- Preferably experience in working within a global organization with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
What is Nice to Have:
- Willingness to travel >80%, of the time.

- Competitive base salary between € 60K and € 70K gross annual with a 30% OTE (Sales Bonus).
