About the role 

As a Windows 11 Tech Lead, you will drive the successful implementation and migration of Windows 11 within our organization. We will count on you to oversee various critical tasks related to On-Prem Autopilot, Application Migration, Configuration Baselines and GPO, and Rollout Plan. Along the way, you will get to:

  • On-Prem Autopilot - Develop and establish the process for executing Autopilot white gloves. Ensure users are onsite until an always-on VPN with a SKEP Cert is available
  • Application Migration - Transfer the remaining ~15 apps from Patch My PC to Intune seamlessly. Identify applications currently published in SCCM but not in Intune for consolidation.
  • Configuration Baselines and GPO - Lead the migration of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to Configuration Policies, ensuring seamless transition and functionality. Conduct thorough testing of migrated GPOs to validate effectiveness and compliance.
  • Rollout Plan - Utilize current update rings to facilitate the rollout of Windows 11 across the organization. Divide the two production rings into smaller groups using Gradual Rollout options for a systematic deployment approach.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in managing Windows 11 deployments and migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and Group Policy management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute rollout plans for large-scale IT projects.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows 11 or equivalent would be advantageous.
