About the Role:

As a Remote Benefit Consultant, you will have the opportunity to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them understand their insurance options and guiding them toward financial security. AO South equips every consultant with the tools, training, and support necessary to succeed and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Client Consultations: Meet with clients remotely to understand their financial goals, assess their insurance needs, and recommend the best solutions.
  • Explain Policy Options: Clearly communicate policy features, coverage details, and premium costs to ensure clients fully understand their choices.
  • Ongoing Customer Support: Assist clients with inquiries, policy updates, and claims, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
  • Build Long-Term Relationships: Follow up with clients periodically to reassess their needs and ensure their coverage is always up to date.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and adhere to all industry regulations and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and build trust with clients.
  • Empathy and Compassion: The ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and show sensitivity to their unique circumstances.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in documentation and paperwork to ensure a seamless process for clients.
  • Sales or Customer Service Experience: Preferred but not required, particularly in the insurance industry.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using computers, internet-based applications, and digital tools for remote work.
  • Independent and Self-Motivated: Capable of managing time effectively and working autonomously in a remote environment.
  • Home Office Setup: Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace at home to conduct virtual consultations and work productively.
