What You'll Do
We are looking for a Wastewater Chemical Application Specialist to join our team! Someone with extensive knowledge of solids separation and clarification operations and is fully competent in multiple unit operations. It is also important to understand these unit operations across various industries.
You will functions at the highest capability level in Solenis LLC regarding the application of core and new product technologies for both polymer and defoamer applications and have a broad base of experience, you are a recognized industry expert, knowledgeable in product application technology within the influent and effluent market.
Working with the Applications management team this position leads the support of geographic growth initiatives, development and delivery of detailed technical training, technical information development and dissemination, and troubleshooting of problems. In addition, you will lead multiple projects focused on new technology growth.
You will also be a primary filter for new product ideas in development by R&D. Ultimately, success will be measured through expanding sales and profitability, while maintaining existing business.
This position is regionally based in North America, so the ideal candidate should live close to a major airport
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide field support for customer applications and unit operations via troubleshooting.
- Stays current in the industry developments by actively participating in professional groups, trainings and learning about new technology
- Partner with sales team members during customer site visits to provide: onsite audit support for pre-bids, technical product, and application recommendations
