About the Role:

Responsible for leading a team of Partner Development Executives with large complex relationships in addition to owning partner relationships and growing the revenue associated with those relationships. Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring and performance evaluation to Partner Development Executives (PDE’s), assisting PDE’s with partner and internal escalations, process development, and other administrative tasks. Works closely with the Client Account Executive teams, Solutions Engineering team, Revenue Operations team and and other Pathward internal enablement teams to onboard new partners, grow the relationship and and design and deliver solutions and capabilities needed to grow the revenue of Commercial and Consumer Lending Division. Works with the PDE’s to make decisions lower in the organization emphasizing simplicity and speed. Escalates to the SVP, Partner Development for issues that need their input while recommending solution and associated reasoning.

What You Will Do:

  • Leads a team of Partner Development Executives with an emphasis on revenue generation.
  • Manages current partners at the leadership level in a way that deepens the relationship between the partner and Pathward and grows the revenue with the partner.
  • Understands the business model and offerings of the partner and the role that Pathward plays in ensuring the success of the partner.
  • Builds deep relationships with key stakeholders of the partner.
  • Assists where needed in conducting quarterly business reviews with the partners.
  • Develops a pipeline of revenue opportunities for new partner relationships.
  • Works with internal teams to address material servicing-related issues with the partner.
  • Works with internal teams to develop solutions and launch product extensions with the partner.
  • Coordinates the biweekly partner pipeline review agenda.
  • Develops formalized processes for PDE’sto simplify work effort.
  • Coordinates the onboarding of new team members including training, system access, and new hire documentation.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to understand evolving products and solutions that would impact Commercial Partner Team.
  • Understands the needs of the partner and the problem the solution will solve for the end user.
  • Participates in detailed discussions with current or future partners to understand solution constructs, capabilities and enhancements. Then, works with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions which will empower Pathward to win in the marketplace.
  • Leads and cultivates productive relationships with key employees in cross-functional departments; ensures their needs and capabilities are understood, and then develops and maintains optimal approaches to initiatives with their aggregate buy-in, given their differing and sometimes conflicting needs.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and typically 12+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in product strategy, management, or product marketing.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Typically, 12+ years of related experience and/or training in financial services, preferably Commercial Lending. 
  • Experience in successfully communicating with senior executives.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Track record of growing revenues and deepening partner relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts and a bias towards action.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to discern information from multiple sources and distill that information into relevant data needed to make a decision.
  • An ability to make decisions with positive outcomes and/or provide recommendations with reasoning.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make decisions.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Problem solving.

Salary range: $151,672.07 – $250,258.92

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
