JOB HIGHLIGHTYou’ll design, lead, and grow the charity: water Partnerships team strategy in building innovative and impactful partnerships that grow brand awareness, acquire monthly-recurring donors, and land mega gifts (7, 8, & 9 figures). JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP of Global Partnerships will lead the Partnerships strategy for charity: water, shape team development, and drive multiplicative revenue growth and brand awareness. We are at a pivotal moment in charity: water's history having just crossed the $1B mark in revenue raised to impact more than 20 million people. This role will be crucial in the continued success and growth through the strategic development of key partnerships in the corporate, foundation, influencer and live event spaces. YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…● Designing and executing the strategy for the global Partnerships team and aggressive revenue growth● Developing a specified new business strategy for growth in Fortune 500 companies● Working with the Director of Foundations to help execute a comprehensive Foundations strategy that identifies and builds high-level Foundation partnerships● Creating an events partnership approach to elevate the charity: water brand and raise revenue● Working with the Director of Business Development to prospect potential new brand partners using various direct methods such as face-to-face meetings, networking, speaking engagements, and research using your existing network and the charity: water ecosystem● Strategizing with the Partnerships team to cultivate long-term and holistic partnerships, integrating various giving and engagement tactics, ensuring that we have a healthy relationship with our existing partners, that expectations are clear, and that charity: water’s mission is always put first● Analyzing data to find new opportunities and ensuring all activities are measurable to drive efficiency and maximize results● Representing the organization at various networking and cultivation events to bring new brand partners into the funnel and identify fruitful partnership opportunities● Delivering an exceptional first experience for new charity: water partners and facilitating strong relationships between them and the organization● Working with our marketing leaders to identify strategic partnerships that align with the organization’s marketing plan and support its success● Identifying music artists, celebrities, influencers, and events and developing partnerships for brand awareness and revenue generation● Leading and serving as a mentor to the entire Partnerships team, fostering a continued culture of collaboration and excellence● Developing innovative campaigns and partnership experiences that further our mission while elevating charity: water as best-in-class in the Partnerships space● Reporting to the CRO on the strategy, performance and KPIs of the Partnerships team● Traveling up to one week per month to partners, prospect meetings and events YOU MUST HAVE…● A Bachelor's degree● 10 years+ experience in the marketing/sales/strategic partnerships industries● Minimum of 10+ years of new business cultivation or sales experience and a proven track record of revenue generation● A network of strong corporate relationships with marketing and CSR leaders● An incredible passion for our mission that invigorates and excites everyone with whom you share it● Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, articulate and persuasive, with well-honed relationship building skills● A team-orientation, with strong leadership skills, essential for a fast-paced environment that continually strives for excellence and growth● Highly developed interpersonal skills possessing the ability to represent the organization to senior-level partner stakeholders● Nonprofit partnerships experience● Fortune 500 CSR experience IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE…● A master’s degree in a relevant field of study● Experience with Salesforce● Experience with Jira● Large Foundation partnerships and grant writing experience YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF...You’re remarkably people-orientedYou have an innate social intelligence.
