Distinguished Software Engineers serve as a technical leader and the architectural owner of one or more organizations while directly influencing technology wide architecture. Distinguished Engineers drive alignment and maturity at the strategic and tactical level across all engineers in their organization. A Distinguished software engineer has the ability to ride the organizational elevator, operating as a force multiplier hands-on engineer with a specific team to speaking with executives about long term strategy. Their role focuses on the sustainable HOW of “Delivering MORE value FASTER that SCALES”.
