About You
The VP, Client Services is responsible for implementing, leading and growing client engagement for your book of accounts. You set the tone, inspiring greatness and motivating the team to not only drive high client satisfaction but also manage client expectations and ensure our programs are focused on exceeding their goals to drive limitless growth. You are accountable for your book of business and the management activities and serving as a leader within a client team, you oversee direct reports as well as maintaining indirect responsibility for growth services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishing and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships with the client by ensuring the successful execution of deliverables and putting forth recommendations related to applied strategy inclusive of their marketing mix, technology stack, and/or industry knowledge
- Building relationships and rapport with key senior client POCs (defined per account) looking to establish DEPT as a strategic partner and solutions provider
- Strategically educating senior client POCs on the full suite of services across DEPT
- Proactively delivering thought leadership and inspiration specific to industry, vertical and economic landscapes that evolve the way we buy media and do business
- Partnering and collaborating with other client agency/internal partners to deliver an integrated media approach across channels
- Engaging a cross-agency team to deliver high levels of service and output quality
- Providing the strategic infrastructure to push the team to work/think differently
- Immersing yourself in clients’ business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knowing their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knowing client’s products inside out and applying this knowledge to deliver innovative, ambitious client plans and service
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 8 years’ direct response focused paid search & social experience (spanning all Google & Meta products) and a minimum 5 years of experience in a client-facing marketing role
- Proven prior work experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports / team members and a total team size of 15+ and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles
- A deep understanding of Google Ads/Meta Ads Manager and be skilled at effectively communicating direct response paid search & social performance, goals, targets, and tactics to clients and can get into the weeds when necessary
- Preferred background with direct response mobile app user acquisition campaigns
- The ability to audit an account and present actionable insights to a client
- The ability to provide feedback and strategic guidance to all paid media channels (search, social, shopping, display, mobile, native and video)
- To hold your own talking growth strategy, SEO, CRO, analytics and measurement with marketing managers and C-Level executives alike
- Experience acting as an escalation point for clients, evaluating team services levels and proposing improvements

The anticipated salary ranges for this position and subsequent locations are listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
