ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking an innovative and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive Primal Harvest’s next phase of growth. In this key leadership role, you will shape lifecycle marketing strategies, optimize customer journeys, manage digital products, and spearhead customer-centric data initiatives and oversee brand strategy for our fast-growing DTC brand. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with Primal Harvest’s mission and business objectives. Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, marketing channels, and product communications.
Lifecycle Marketing Strategy & Customer Journey Optimization: Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize the customer journey and provide strategic leadership to the CRM team, with a dotted line to brand & creative for collaboration.
Digital Product Management & Technical Direction: Provide technical leadership on the product management roadmap. Implement and refine product management processes, improve the tech stack, clean the code base, and reduce technical debt. Ensure cost efficiency and scalability to support future growth.
Customer Insights & Data Strategy: Lead the development of a customer data strategy and oversee the Customer Data Platform (CDP). Create data-driven dashboards to champion customer insights. Collaborate with the wider marketing and IT teams to ensure data quality, governance, and security, adhering to regulatory standards.
Frontline Customer Program and Experience: Define and implement a brand-centric customer service program that enhances the overall customer experience. Provide leadership to the Customer Support function, empowering the team with insights, tools, and clear objectives to deliver exceptional customer service.
CRM & Email Marketing: Oversee CRM and Email marketing to ensure a continued focus on building and optimizing CRM campaigns, improving the post-purchase experience, and leveraging data for segmentation and personalization.
Social and Content Marketing: Oversee the Social and Content teams, to ensure all marketing works in an integrated fashion, supporting customer acquisition in organic channels.
Strategic Leadership & Business Innovation: Provide strategic leadership to the marketing organization. Drive innovation and collaboration across departments. Identify new growth opportunities, including market expansion in regions such as the UK, CA, and EU. Execute long-term business strategies that promote sustainable growth and competitive differentiation while ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, product management, or digital marketing leadership within a fast-growth DTC consumer brand.
- Proven track record of building brand equity, driving customer loyalty, and fostering community engagement.
- Deep expertise in lifecycle marketing, email/SMS retention, and customer journey optimization.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce, website UX, product management, and digital experience optimization.
- Hands-on leader with strategic vision who is also comfortable with tactical execution.
- Experience in data-driven customer strategies, including CDP development, segmentation, and personalization.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and drive innovation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data, optimize performance, and improve decision-making.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing tech stacks.

Primal Harvest offers a comprehensive benefits package. The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-170,000 USD/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
