The Vice President of Sales will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for leading, scaling and expanding the sales organization. This role will oversee a diverse team of Sales Executives primarily responsible for generating new business. The VP will drive business opportunities, foster strong partnerships, and manage customer relationships, while increasing revenue. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Expansion: Lead, hire, manage, and provide vision for the West Sales team. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the assigned territory. 
  • Sales & Business Development: Drive new business development and prospecting activities, closing enterprise deals for Contrast’s application security software. Develop direct and partner-based sales channels to expand market reach. 
  • Market Expansion Strategy: Build and execute strategic plans to accommodate corporate objectives and drive growth. 
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners. Engage with C-level decision-makers to negotiate, close deals, and drive long-term customer loyalty. 
  • Sales Performance & Metrics: Lead the team to consistently achieve revenue targets and sales objectives. Ensure a customer-first, results-driven culture that thrives in fast-paced environments. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of competitors, industry trends, and the evolving technology landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning.  

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and selling skills
  • Proven ability to develop sales teams and penetrate new markets, with experience in the Cyber-Security industry required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of initiative in overcoming challenges and barriers to success
  • Executive level communication and sales presentation skills with an ability to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience driving strategic sales initiatives and meeting aggressive growth targets in the application security or software space
  • Proven leadership experience, including coaching,  mentoring, and motivating sales teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of successful leadership sales experience, with a focus on enterprise software security solutions. EDR, CDR, CNAPP, XDR preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles, particularly with high-value, strategic accounts selling security-related software or services
  • Track record of consistently achieving quota and strategic objectives
  • Sandler Sales Certified Preferred
Salary and Other CompensationThis position's standard base pay range is $200,000 - $215,000 annually. This position is also eligible for commission and an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
