Job description


You will be integral to our lead generation and revenue-increasing efforts. Primary responsibilities would include identifying and developing new publisher and affiliate partnerships, while communicating with and catering to the needs of our existing traffic partners. Ideal candidates will be self-sufficient, analytical, methodical, quick learners, and possess great communication and negotiation skills.


Key responsibilities


Affiliate Program Ownership & Growth

  • Own the affiliate growth strategy, prioritizing high-performing verticals, media types, and acquisition channels. Build, negotiate, and grow high-impact partnerships with affiliates, aggregators, and platforms
  • Oversee campaign operations on platforms like Everflow and MediaAlpha
  • Oversee and refine the affiliate traffic tiering system to uphold quality standards, maintain margins, and scale volume effectively.
  • Oversee technical campaign setup (S2S tracking, UTM parameters, postbacks, etc.)
  • Monitor traffic quality, fraud risk, and compliance alignment across partners
  • Maintain a deep pulse on market trends, affiliate sentiment, and shifts in regulatory or media landscapes to shape forward-looking strategies that ensures a long-term affiliate growth.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and grow a team of Affiliate Managers and Partner Success leads
  • Set clear KPIs and performance goals for the team and hold them accountable
  • Coach team members on campaign optimization, reporting, negotiation, and partner strategy
  • Establish structured team processes for onboarding, partner communication, and QA
  • Foster a culture of analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and high ownership
  • Provide regular performance feedback and support professional development

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with sales, analytics, media buying, product, and engineering to align strategies
  • Work with compliance and legal to ensure campaigns adhere to insurance regulations
  • Present growth insights, risks, and forecasts to executive leadership
  • Drive innovation by continuously testing new offers, verticals, and media types within affiliate channel

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in affiliate marketingperformance media, or partnership strategy
  • 2+ years in a people management or team leadership role
  • Proven track record managing high-volume CPL campaigns in insurance, health, or finance
  • Strong working knowledge of affiliate tracking platforms (Everflow, Impact, Partnerize, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)
  • Experience with analytics tools like Looker, GA4, or Tableau
  • Deep technical understanding of tracking infrastructure and lead flow mechanics
  • Confident, structured communicator—capable of influencing partners and leading teams
  • A disciplined, data-first leader with deep affiliate and performance marketing expertise
  • Strategic thinker with a strong command of funnel metrics, quality KPIs, and campaign economics
  • Comfortable managing a team, but leads by example with clear expectations and documentation
  • Influential in partner conversations and persuasive in securing strategic deals
  • Thrives in high-accountability environments where results—not noise—drive decision-making
  • Has a quiet confidence, structured mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement
