Position Overview:
The Outset Medical Vice President, National Accounts and Post Acute is a high-level leadership role responsible for managing and developing the company’s largest current and potential customers. The Vice President must be able to lead and inspire a team to drive change and take control and ensure sales objectives are met on a consistent basis. The Vice President is expected to be able to teach their teams to provide an extraordinary degree of strategic discovery, executive engagement, project urgency, and solution selling at all levels of healthcare organizations and across the healthcare enterprise. The Vice President’s duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships cross-functionally, understanding customer trends, and hire, train and develop teams.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in Acute, Chronic, Long Term Care, and Home market segments
- Develop a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and communicate to key stakeholders
- Oversee recruitment of sales leaders and sales personnel for the market, lead, develop and mentor direct reports and coach the team towards high performance, and talent development and retention
