Vice President, Brand Marketing and Communications

The Vice President of Brand and Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping and elevating the Icertis brand and voice in the market. This senior leadership role will own the strategy and execution of all external and internal communications, public relations, executive visibility, corporate messaging and brand identity. This leader will collaborate closely with the CMO and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a consistent, compelling, and differentiated brand presence that supports Icertis' growth objectives and market leadership. #LI-Remote #LI-RS1

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand and corporate communications strategy that enhances Icertis' visibility, reputation, and thought leadership globally.  This includes our social media and thought leadership productions (e.g. Beyond the Fine Print).
  • Lead the evolution and stewardship of the Icertis brand, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and personality identity across all touchpoints.
  • Maintain and further establish Icertis' leadership in the Contract Intelligence category, ensuring clear differentiation from competitors in all communications and brand initiatives.
  • Re-imagine Icertis’ primary Corporate Events including:  the company meeting, SKO, and our Customer/User Conference.
  • Oversee all public relations and media relations efforts, including managing agency relationships, securing high-impact media coverage, and supporting product and corporate announcements.
  • Drive executive visibility programs, including thought leadership, speaking engagements, media opportunities, and social presence for the Icertis CXO leadership team.
  • Develop and manage internal communications strategies that promote alignment, engagement, and a strong company culture.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation and Product and Partner Marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency across campaigns and content.
  • Manage brand storytelling initiatives, customer success narratives, and content strategies that amplify Icertis' differentiation and value proposition.
  • Partner with Human Resources and other departments to ensure alignment of employer branding and employee advocacy programs.
  • Lead crisis and issues management communications planning and response.
  • Track, analyze, and report on brand health, PR metrics, and communication effectiveness, continuously optimizing for greater impact.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in brand and corporate communications leadership, preferably within high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise technology companies.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling messaging and narratives that resonate with multiple stakeholders including media, analysts, customers, employees, and investors.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; adept at influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of building and scaling brand identity and communications functions globally.
  • Experience managing external PR agencies and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong understanding of the evolving media landscape, including traditional, digital, and social channels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting executive communications and strategic counsel to C-suite leaders.
  • Familiarity with AI and enterprise software markets is a strong plus.
  • Experience with brand measurement tools and communications analytics platforms.

 

Salary range and description

Min $250,000 - Max $330,000 USD per year

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary and annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
