This position is part of the North America Medical Next Gen Immunology team, a segment of the Medical Specialty Care organization. Main Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Oversee, recruit, develop, and retain a large team of high-performing team of Regional Directors (RDs) and Field-based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
Monitor performance metrics, provide direction, and offer timely feedback to RDs
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement medical scientific engagement and clinical trial acceleration plans
Partner with internal stakeholders to support life cycle management and enable clinical trial acceleration across the I&I portfolio
Demonstrate and communicate the value and impact of field medical to senior leaders
Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management:
Lead identification and interactions with KOLs in designated disease areas at national, regional, and local levels
Customer Insights:
Gather and share customer insights with internal stakeholders to improve processes, materials, and identify business opportunities
Scientific Exchange:
Oversee appropriate scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs, and site investigators
Ensure balanced communication of medical and scientific information on pipeline programs
Congress and Meeting Management:
Direct field-based Medical attendance and coverage at congresses and meetings
Contribute to meeting planning efforts through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Data and AI:
Leverage data sets to enable better decision-making on resourcing, territory planning, and KOL/site engagement
Support the implementation of field-focused AI tools to enable next best action for field staff
Compliance:
Ensure team compliance with Sanofi policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and US laws & regulations
About You:
Education:
MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP preferred
Work Experience:
8+ years of field medical experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience developing and leading large & high-performing teams
Skills / Knowledge:
Proven ability to work effectively in large enterprise matrix teams
Experience in Dermatology and launch of new therapies highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to use data and AI to direct decision-making and strategic planning
Strong project management and leadership skills
Highly developed networking, communication, and influencing abilities
Analytical skills to assess performance and provide coaching to team members
Passion for team development
Effective professional communication skills
Strong scientific and business acumen
Ability to translate insights into strategic action plans
Innovative mindset to challenge the status quo and create disruptive initiatives
Travel:
Up to 50% travel required nationally for conference, field visits, and strategic planning meetings

The salary range for this position is $225,000.00 - 300,000.00$ USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
