About the role:
Alcoa, a global corporation, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Treasury Analyst to join our team based either at the Alcoa Corporate Center in Pittsburgh, PA, or to work remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's financial resources, ensuring compliance with financial covenants, and providing insightful analytics and reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of working capital financing, financial assurance, covenant compliance & rating agency reporting, and financial modeling. The role reports to the Treasury Manager, Corporate Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working Capital Financing: Manage and optimize working capital financing processes to ensure efficient use of the company's financial resources.
- Financial Assurance: Oversee the issuance and management of letters of credit or parent company guarantees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Covenant Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely covenant reports to ensure compliance with financial agreements.
- Rating Agency Reporting: Coordinate and prepare reports for rating agencies, maintaining up-to-date models and ensuring accurate representation of the company's financial position.
- Analytics and Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes, including forecasting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Reporting Capability: Generate comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Complex Transactions: Work closely with global business units on complex transactions and prepare a management summary and outline of the business case and its impact on existing financial agreements and covenants.
What you can bring to this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CTP, or similar preferred.
- Experience with working capital financing and letters of credit is preferred.
- Familiarity with rating agency reporting and methodologies and covenant compliance is preferred.

Base salary: $68,000 - $94,000 USD annuallyTotal rewards packages listed, including base salary and bonus eligibility, applies to US based applicants only. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies in conjunction with multiple components of the Employee Total Rewards Package.
