About the Team/Role

As a Transportation Electrification Specialist, you will be supporting clients of all sizes, including local governments, private corporations, and utilities. You will work with the analysis and software development teams to deliver industry-leading analysis, primarily supporting fleet electrification and identifying opportunities for fleets to improve EV operations. You will help onboard clients, setting up their dashboards and customizing our software tools based on each client’s fleet operations. Supporting clients throughout the analysis period, you will deliver interim results and make further customizations based on discussions with the client. At the completion of analysis, you will deliver results to clients, providing them with the information required to inform a data-driven fleet electrification and sustainability strategy. You will bring your expertise to the team to contribute to the expansion of features for our fleet software, immediately contributing to feature development and having the ability to influence product development.

How you'll make an impact

  • Provide subject-matter expertise on fleet electrification and transportation sustainability to a variety of fleets

  • Conduct quantitative analyses leveraging our software analytics

  • Conduct research to stay on top of fleet electrification and electric vehicle technology trends

  • Advise both public and private clients around the country, including onboarding and customization of our software products based on their needs

  • Prepare and deliver analyses in a timely manner, prepping results delivery in combination with delivering our analytics dashboard for client access

  • Collaborate with the analysis, business development, and software development teams to identify additional features and capabilities to expand our software offerings

  • Limited travel may be required for presenting results to clients in-person or at industry events and for in-person team meetings

Experience you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis, sustainability, or another relevant field

  • 3-5 years of experience in sustainability or transportation analysis

  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Excellent presentation skills, and comfortable engaging with clients at all levels of an organization

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • The ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with file sharing platforms (e.g. Google Docs, Sharepoint, etc.)

  • 1+ year of experience in transportation analysis, operations, or telematics preferred

  • Knowledge of the electric vehicle market, trends, and current technologies preferred

  • Experience working on a small, driven team preferred

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $103,000.00 Apply
