The TPO Approval Specialist position provides analytical and administrative support to the underwriting team.  This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Broker Approval Process:

  • Oversee the Client Approval Inbox: Engage with clients regarding requests for account status updates, resolve any issues encountered during loan registration or submission, and handle various related tasks.
  • Collect and evaluate supporting documents to make informed decisions about approving or declining TPO/Correspondent applications.
  • Review and compile necessary documentation for the annual recertification process for TPO/Correspondent.

Record Keeping:

  • Set up company accounts and credentials in Sales Force and Encompass.
  • Oversee VA and FHA requests for TPO/Correspondent through the VA portal or FHA Connection.
  • Ensure NMLS updates are current in Sales Force and Encompass.
  • Handle TPO/Correspondent data management while upholding data integrity in Sales Force and Encompass.
  • Administer and track changes to TPO compensation plans within Sales Force and Encompass.
  • Monitor pending and suspense pipelines, ensuring that statuses are updated as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and the drive to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to the highest quality.
  • Self-starter with a positive Can-Do attitude.
  • An open-minded individual that embraces change and innovation.
  • Excellent customer support skills and service orientation.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and professionally in a fast pace productive environment.
