What’s in Store 

We're on the lookout for a TPA Property Adjuster. As a Property Adjuster you will resolve claims through investigating losses and negotiating settlements for Property claims. This is a fully remote position and requires knowledge of the standard homeowners polices, coverage and claims handling. Desirable candidates should have Property residential and commercial experience, with a solid understanding of coverage and excellent writing and verbal skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish timely contact with all applicable parties to a claim (insureds, claimants, attorneys, etc.), gathers facts of the loss.
  • Assess coverage, identifying and addressing potential coverage issues.
  • Document information obtained regarding damages.
  • Manage the assignment of claim damage for inspection.
  • Handles and settles all claims including litigated claims 
  • Review and accept/reject and make claim tenders
  • Oversees the field assignment to assure timely inspection, documentation, estimate of the loss
  • Maintain files notes and correspondence while performing multiple tasks associated with a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains claim diary for life of claim 
  • Adheres to all guidelines and claims expectations of client 
  • Any and all other duties as assigned 

 

This role is a full-time remote position.

 

Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of 4 years property homeowners claims handling experience.  
  • Texas Multi-line Adjuster's license.
  • Experience as a Property Adjuster.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software and other business-related software.
  • Able to type own reports and other correspondence.
  • Able to pass a background check.
