The Thought Leader Liaison role (TLL) is a commercial, non-sales, field-based position focused on leading, building, and nurturing successful strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in aT1D. TLLs help coordinate commercial activities across functions, ensure aligned KOLs are engaged in key brand messaging and commercial strategy and gauge KOL alignment with commercial brand strategies. This role works closely with field and home office-based colleagues in Marketing, Medical, Sales, Patient Support Services, and Market Access. All TLL interactions are within the approved label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines. TLLs will report to the Head of TLLs.

Main Responsibilities:
Play a key role in enhancing the understanding of aT1D and the role of teplizumab in the management of aT1D using on label materials.
Assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success.
Aligning with cross functional account plans and teams, the aT1D TLL orchestrates resources with the top 10%-15% of identified KOLs.
Responsible for execution of regional insight meetings.
Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs within the aT1D community to conduct substantial on-label business conversations.
Share KOL insights with marketing and senior leadership and provide feedback to commercial leadership on various topics (directed insights) as requested.
Identify, develop, and measure KOL advocacy aligned to key brand messages.
Plan, organize and execute strategic National and Regional Congress activity to include regional product theaters, KOL interactions, and sponsorship opportunities.
Generate pre-congress plan, KOL engagement plans, post congress follow-up.
Support KOL influence-mapping initiatives developing profiles and engagement / communication plans for each assigned KOL.
Enhance KOL organizational relationships through compliant engagements with senior leaders, medical, marketing, and other internal brand partners.
Provide speaker recommendations to marketing when requested; identify emerging opinion leaders.
Execute a customer centric needs-based approach with targeted KOLs.
About You
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant biopharmaceutical/healthcare roles bachelor’s degree
Documented success in pharmaceutical / biotech leadership with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies and tactics, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with regulatory and compliance policies that apply to commercial operations.
Must be an energetic, driven, dynamic leader who builds relationships internally and externally.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, communication and leadership skills
Launch experience in the specialty / rare disease space.
Preferred Requirements
Experience managing large markets.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Previous experience in TLL (or similar) roles.
Experience in aT1D is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate internal promotional review committee processes and procedures.
Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The salary range for this position is $153,750.00 - $205,000.00 USD Annually. In addition to sales incentive (role may my eligible for long term incentive depending on level and performance); all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
