As a Test Engineer you would be responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs manual and automation application system testing, working with other testers and developers.
  • Refines and coordinates test standards with other testers in accordance with team’s Configuration Management and Quality Process and any customer contractual requirements.
  • Reviews and updates test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed.
    • Interfaces with the Development Team to resolve problems/issues/findings that may cause test failures or gaps in requirements.
  • Assist with team’s Helpdesk, SharePoint, Documentation and various forms of Quality Assurance for RM Online.
  • Contribute to process improvement methodology with various aspects of testing/automated test, documentation, requirements analysis, and customer support.
  • Assists customers/users with Tiered level customer support on Helpdesk with oral and written communication, functional and technical documentation, and potential requirements gathering or status meetings with team and client.
  • Knowledge of information technology Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, various Office tools, SharePoint, Robohelp and automated testing suites (like Selenium) or willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

Approximately 6 years of testing/business analyst experience Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC process; including all aspects of requirements and testing. Demonstrated level of knowledge and ability for functional and technical documentation updating for quality delivery to clients. Experience with multiple MS Office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

Desired:

  • Experience with automated testing and have created test scripts using PYTHON. 
  • Experience writing PL/SQL.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
