The Opportunity

As Territory Manager, you will build strong and sustainable customer relationships within the stores in your territory, with a view to partnering to grow revenue and build our brands. You’ll be well supported by our in-house merchandising team, who you will work closely with and provide coaching and training to as needed.

With energy and drive, you will partner closely with your stores to grow revenue through the flawless execution of promotional plans, compliance against planned in-store activity, and identifying additional opportunities for ranging and display.  All supported by access to data & insights, so you’ll be able to put your analytical skills to great use.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, at least 30 hours per week, based in Palmerston North.

The ingredients you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years of FMCG/grocery industry experience, ideally in the confectionery category
  • Experience in NZ’s FMCG/grocery industry, with field sales and/or account management experience preferred
  • A passion for selling and building relationships
  • A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • Great communication and relationship building skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Solid skills in MS Excel & Teams, experience with Tableau is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during our busy seasonal periods (Easter and Christmas)
  • A full Driver’s License and proven safe driving record
  • Please note that you will need to provide your own late-model vehicle (mid-sized SUV) and personally cover all vehicle related costs including, fuel, maintenance, commercial insurance, repairs.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $110,000, depending on skills and experience.
