Temporary Manager – Technology Risk Consulting (Global Banking)

We seek a skilled professional to temporarily join our Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice, focusing on Technology Risk Consulting. This role provides an opportunity to work with leading U.S. and global banking institutions, addressing critical IT risk and compliance needs while contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise:

  • Evaluate IT general controls, internal controls, and risk exposures in global banking environments.
  • Audit data management systems, including:
    • Python code for data processing.
    • SQL statements for data transformation and reporting.
    • DBMS and data management processes.
    • Reporting/analytics tools such as Alteryx, focusing on derived data creation, cubes, and ad-hoc analytics.
  • Review data lineage, access controls, and security measures across systems.
  • Apply frameworks like COSO, CoBIT, ITIL, and regulatory standards such as FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, and ISO27001.

• Client Engagement:

  • Conduct risk assessments and propose practical solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of project objectives and client expectations.

• Talent Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in IT policies, procedures, and controls.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, temporary project environment.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
