Position Summary
Command|Link, a rapidly growing company, is actively seeking a Telco Cost Negotiation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a part of the Cost Optimization Team, the Telco Cost Negotiation Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing strategic cost-saving initiatives related to vendor expenses. This role involves negotiating with vendors to secure optimal pricing and reduce costs. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity within the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining service quality.
- Develop cost optimization strategies by assessing vendor pricing, service agreements, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure cost-effective procurement, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Conduct in-depth cost-benefit analyses for technology solutions, services, and operational processes.
- Track and evaluate vendor pricing trends to leverage better terms and savings.
- Manage vendor relations and engage in proactive communication to secure cost savings on specific deal opportunities.
- Monitor and report on cost optimization metrics, identifying areas for further efficiency improvements.
- Research and implement best practices in cost reduction, process automation, and financial optimization
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in telecom cost optimization is required.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is required
- Expertise in Excel modeling and advanced data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships.
- Self-motivated with strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach to learning new skills and tasks.
- Team player with a respectful and collaborative attitude.
- Exposure to international cost structures is a plus.
