Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
PSEG is looking for talented technology professionals to join our team. Our vision is to power the digital future of PSEG. We are partners with the business and we are driving business outcomes through innovative use of technology. This position is located in our General Office located in Newark, New Jersey.
Our Technology Professional – Field Services is responsible for managing day-to-day Field Services activities associated with supporting critical business processes for PSEG lines of business. This includes performing desktop field services support for a diverse population of PSEG PC and MDT assets. Resolve client-reported issues documented in ServiceNow within established service levels. Deploy new client products and services documented in ServiceNow within established service levels.
Job Responsibilities
• Work with the Client Services related Infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Resolve product and/or service problems by working with Field Services team.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs to address/resolve PC hardware, peripherals, operating system, application software and network connectivity failures; ensure documented incident (INC) records are resolved within committed service levels.
• Deploy new or reallocated PC hardware, operating system changes and applications as requested; ensure documented request (REQ) tasks are deployed within committed service level.
• Provide desktop support outside core business hours during refueling outages; ensure documented outage-related incident (INC) records are resolved within committed service levels.
• Image new and reallocated PCs as needed.
• Perform periodic walk downs and equipment checks for Emergency Planning PC assets and IT systems in preparation for drills and exercises Comply with all NERC CIP and regulatory guidelines and standards. Comply with cyber security- related and other vulnerabilities as identified by the IT security team. Support all internal and external audit initiatives and remediate identified deficiencies, if any.
• Identify continuous improvement areas and come up with new initiatives to enhance application support.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum 2 year of IT Field experience or without a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 4 years of IT Field experience.
• • PC hardware and software repair experience
• Overall strong technical proficiency in information technology/computer disciplines.
• Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
• Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
• Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers and clients.
• Good communications, consultative and interpersonal skills, including oral, written and presentation; teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients from various business organizations and lines of business, and IT management and staff.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with callout availability required
