  • As a Technology Product Manager you will define the strategy, roadmap, and features for a product based on customer needs. By analysing the market and competition you will craft a product vision that delivers unique value to customers and the business. You will provide the expertise needed to lead and make strategic product decisions — aligning engineering, marketing, sales, and support around this important work. 

  • You will need to create strong cohesion amongst cross-functional teams to communicate a clear vision and strategy of the Product and bridge any gaps between Business, Account and Technology teams over the product journey through its Life Cycle. 

     

    Core Responsibilities: 

    • Take the overall responsibility for the success of the IFM product suite 

    • Contribute towards product strategy and vision in line with the business's goals 

    • Research competitors and similar products, and analyze market trends 

    • Collect and analyze user feedback to identify product requirements and priorities and steer the development process 

    • Report on product performance and user feedback and implement any necessary changes 

    • Create timelines and roadmaps for developing the product 

    • Host product strategy sessions with key business stakeholders to align with company goals and objectives 

    • Meet regularly with all stakeholders, including product designers, developers and analysts, as well as marketing, sales, customer service, finance and company heads to keep progress on track 

    • Gather and evaluate ideas and opinions from users to work out the most valuable features to include in your product 

    • Ensure product developers have the resources they need to keep the product on schedule and within budget (including partnership with FP&A, HR etc.) 

    • Anticipate and solve any problems that arise during the product creation or development 

    • Manage one or more project budgets 

    • Plan new features and changes to a product taking into account a range of factors such as risks and opportunities 

    • Demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders 

    • Hold and chair Vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate overall product health and go-forward strategy 

    • Attend conferences and events related to a product or sector 

    • Implement or support product launch marketing campaigns 

    • Create and oversee development and project management processes 

    • Inspire and enthuse colleagues and users of the product. 

     

     

     

    Internal Responsibilities (specific to the role): 

    • Act as a Product SME when it comes to sales pursuits, opportunities and Client meetings 

    • Establish a core set of KPIs for all teams to assess the operational effectiveness of the Product 

    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in respective tools and technologies, and evaluate their potential to improve our technology capabilities 

    • Maintain product data around key features, contact points and events in the internal C&W product information repository 

    • Lead and manage a Product Team and providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities. 

    • Assist Vice President of GOS Technology in product contract management 

    • Lead the technology change management process for releases and enhancements to determine and execute operational and technology roadmaps to support effective Product Life Cycle 

    • Support change management efforts, effectively managing transitions and keeping the team aligned with the company's vision and strategic goals 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) 

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager 

    • Demonstrated success in defining and launching Tier-1 products 

    • Certified Product Manager (CPM) or New Product Development (NPD) Professional Certification a plus 

    • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and/or workflow management tools 

    • Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams 

    • Product innovation and development track record 

    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority 

    • Must be able to travel 10% of the time 

    • Strong Knowledge of CMMS, Digital Building, and Work Order Solutions

    • Deep Understanding of Facility Management and Commercial Real Estate Industry

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $136,000.00 - $160,000.00
