Summary
Guidewire has the largest ecosystem of consulting and technology partners as well as the most utilized marketplace in the P&C industry. The ecosystem is a competitive differentiator, and will function as a growth engine for the company. The Technology Alliance team delivers the foundation to build, market, and sell content on the Guidewire Marketplace as well as evolve our ecosystem into a revenue generating engine. Guidewire will grow our revenue share partnerships into a repeatable, forecastable program which utilizes partner products to deliver outsized revenue results in the aggregate.The Alliance Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing partnerships and alliances that drive business growth and enhance competitive advantage. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives, maximizing the value of partnerships, and fostering strong relationships.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships that deliver the most value to the ecosystem. Key objective of delivering content to the Guidewire Marketplace that meets customers demand.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations and internally, delivering content that meets both Global and Geography specific needs.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop joint business plans and strategies to maximize the value of partnerships. Including individual plans for key partnerships and as well as a broad plan for lower tier partners
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership performance metrics, ensuring that objectives are met and identifying areas for improvement.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms that benefit both parties.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other departments to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in alliance management, business development, or partnership roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with CRM tools. ###

Work Environment:

- This position may require occasional travel to partner locations and industry events.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $69,000 - $103,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
