Summary

Gainwell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, tenure in healthcare technology, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation.  Subject matter expertise in Care Management and Population Health Management is required.

 

As the Technical Senior Manager for PHM at Gainwell, you will oversee the technical delivery and support of our Population Health Management Service solutions and services across Gainwell clients.  This will include leading a team of IT Professionals.

Your role in our mission

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with Gainwell's business objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements to drive innovation and efficiency. 
  • SDLC Management: Oversee software delivery and support functions, setting and enforcing standard to ensure best-in-class delivery disciplines are followed.
  • Project Management: Oversee complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project management best practices.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Subject matter expert to shape and drive the execution of Population Health Platform
  • Leads a cross functional team in the ongoing operations of an integrated Population Health Solution.  Advanced certifications preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in various IT domains, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and applications development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate with clients about IT related discrepancies and other matter of significance to ascertain information and correct errors.
  • Provides work direction and guidance to less experienced personnel using the IT structure and associated components to ensure that business specifications are met
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field
  • 5+ years in healthcare IT, preferably with a strong knowledge of healthcare population health and care management products
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in Population Health and/or Care Management preferred

What you should expect in this role

  • This is a fully remote position with the opportunity to travel through your work up to 10% annually.

The pay range for this position is $108,400 - $154,800 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
