Responsibilities
Assist with strategic roadmap development for predictive models through customer research and industry understanding
Maintain all Product Management artifacts including roadmaps in A-ha!, engineering backlogs in Jira, business case studies, business plans, etc…
Run all planning and standup meetings (e.g. scrum master type activities)
Interface with engineering and other teams to coordinate activities and to manage/mitigate dependencies
Interface with Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to drive product sales and adoption
Research data issues and drive understanding of how data is created and updated from both ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter configurations.
Assist with creation and management of data assets, data harmonization, and analysis with a focus on simplicity, scalability, reusability, and clear documentation
Additional work assignments not related to specific project work such as new feature development, external data research, providing user feedback on new products and tools under development
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent industry experience
Passion for solving complex data problems
5+ years of relevant Product Management experience in data management and predictive analytics
Deep experience with US/Canadian P&C standard lines of business
Experience with the SAFe methodology as well as running scrum teams and program increment planning
Data profiling and analysis skills including basic statistical analysis; SQL experience desired
Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter configuration and data
Experience with P&C policy administration and claims processing concepts
Proficiency with Excel and Google sheets
Exposure to and understanding of NLP and other ML techniques
Experience and skill in communicating with both technical and non-technical personnel
Ability to plan and carry out projects with minimal direction
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with desire to solve problems
