The Intel Tiber AI Cloud offers developers a cutting-edge platform to build, test, and deploy applications utilizing Intel's industry-leading technologies. The cloud infrastructure supports a wide array of tools and frameworks to accelerate innovation and streamline workflows.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Tiber Cloud SRE Team as a Cloud Technical Writer Intern to focus on creating and enhancing documentation for our Cloud systems. This role will provide hands-on experience in documenting complex cloud infrastructure processes and contributing to tools that empower developers using Intel Tiber AI Cloud.
In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, clear, and user-friendly documentation for SRE tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to understand and document the architecture, deployment pipelines, and configuration management processes.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and visual aids to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Test and validate documentation by following the steps to replicate infrastructure setups.
- Assist in writing tutorials, FAQs, and guides for internal and external audiences.
- Work with the team to ensure that documentation aligns with Intel Developer Cloud's standards and branding.
Aside from the qualifications stated below, the ideal candidate shall possess the following behavioral traits:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise documentation
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into simple, user-friendly documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field with 3+ months of knowledge or experience in the areas of cloud computing, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with Markdown, Git, and version control systems is preferred.
