Our Digital Transformation Consulting Division (DTD) specializes in high-end consulting that is solving the federal government’s hardest problems by delivering performance-based and outcome-driven digital transformation solutions. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Software Developer (ServiceNow/Workday and Payroll Integrations) in support of The Department of Defense (DoD). This position will be remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, functional designers, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements between ServiceNow, Workday, and payroll systems
  • Design and develop integration solutions that connect ServiceNow, Workday, and payroll systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with DoD standards
  • Configure ServiceNow and Workday platforms to facilitate integration with payroll systems. This includes setting up integration points, data fields, and workflows
  • Develop custom code, scripts, or connectors to enable data exchange between ServiceNow, Workday, and payroll systems. Utilize relevant APIs, middleware, or integration tools as needed
  • Define and implement data mapping strategies to ensure data from Workday and ServiceNow is accurately transformed and transferred to payroll systems
  • Develop and apply data transformation rules to convert data formats and structures between different systems
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during transmission between ServiceNow, Workday, and payroll systems, adhering to DoD security standards and regulations
  • Work closely with project managers, functional leads, and other technical team members to ensure alignment on integration goals and deliverables
  • Monitor integration performance and data flows post-implementation to ensure continued functionality and address any emerging issues
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for integrations, including troubleshooting, updates, and enhancements based on user feedback and changing requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using modern coding languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science information systems or related technical degree plus and/or 5 years of comparable work experience
  • Experienced in building end-end data integrations between Workday and ServiceNow
  • Proficient in Workday with active Workday certification
  • Proficient in ServiceNow with active ServiceNow certification
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team and promoting Agile Scrum principles
  • Experience with ADO, JIRA, or other project management tools
  • Ability to design and build technical solutions using applicable technologies; ability to demonstrate exceptional configuration/coding skills and development discipline
  • Experience working within large cross-functional teams. Must have excellent communications and presentation skills. Ability to work proficiently with MS Office and CRM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale, multi-phase programs or projects, preferably in IT or HR transformations
  • Proven track record developing for HCM projects, including implementations of HR Information Systems (HRIS) or enterprise-level HR technology solutions
  • Prior experience working with federal agencies or understanding federal regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable

Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with a current/active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,500-$217,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
