Our Digital Transformation Consulting Division (DTD) specializes in high-end consulting that is solving the federal government’s hardest problems by delivering performance-based and outcome-driven digital transformation solutions. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Workday Architect in support of The Department of Defense (DoD). This position will be remote.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: 

  • Evaluate client requirements, use cases, and other inputs to create a solution roadmap to meet client needs  
  • Apply expert knowledge of Workday product capabilities, including plug-ins, to advise on product selections and integrations
  • Design Workday HCM solutions and perform architect end-end workflows in HCM along with system integrations and data migrations.   
  • Applies expertise in declarative-type platform implementations, including minimizing customization and custom code   
  • Apply workflow, process, and data integration expertise to design an end-to-end solution  
  • Conduct research into clients’ use of Workday as part of a transformational accession program, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Workday solutions 
  • Collaborate with DISA client and other stakeholders to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements. 
  • Review solutions and recommend process integration, reporting, and data integration improvements   
  • Advises on Cloud requirements and performance capabilities  
  • Work with a team to groom and refine the Workday product backlog in liaison with stakeholders on the project 
  • Own the design of Workday and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions   
  • Contribute to and review user stories and other requirements documentation  
  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story 
  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing  
  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Workday   
  • Collaborative project and workstream planning 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience leading successful Workday implementation
  • 5 years of experience communicating complicated data, architecture, and development topics clearly to decision-making bodies and senior leadership for Workday implementations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field
  • Workday implementation experience with at least ten implementations  
  • Workday experience with CRM use cases with preferences in recruiting and onboarding HR type of business function   
  • Managing an Enterprise Level Transformation Program in a Military or DoD Setting  
  • Active Workday Certifications  
  • Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 1 or more years of experience working in DoD environment
  • Workday solutioning experience at the enterprise level  
  • Utilization of Workday as a Human Resources or Human Capital Management component  

Clearance Requirements: 

  • US citizenship with current/active Secret Clearance 

  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. 
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 

The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100-$234,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
