Job Summary:

The Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager performs a broad range of corporate accounting functions. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, this role will be primarily responsible for assessment of new or complex accounting issues arising from both business transactions and the implementation of new accounting pronouncements, as well as ad hoc technical accounting research. This role will also prepare the company's internal and external financial statements including detailed disclosures. The individual selected for this position will interact with all levels of management and staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting and assist with multiple financial projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review periodic internal and external financial statements and related footnotes ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Research and document technical accounting matters including overseeing the implementation of new accounting standards, and determining proper accounting treatment for new products, contracts and complex transactions
• Remain current on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure compliance
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements and ensure efficienct, timely and accurate completion of audits and reviews
• Provide technical guidance to the accounting team and the business on complex accounting issues
• Manage revenue recognition, equity and CECL as the subject matter expert
