Technical Account Manager – Energy Efficiency
Location: Missouri Remote
We are currently seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our Utility Program Service Division to provide critical outreach and operational support for New Mexico based energy efficiency programs.

What you will be doing:
Account Management Support – 70%
- Contractor and distributor account management specific to HVAC and Water Heating programs including MOU’s, participation agreements, forecast, budgets and monthly payment reconciliations.
- Contractor and distributor communications including management of inboxes, outreach and training, relationship building activities, technical assistance, and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to those participating in utility-sponsored programs
Operations Support – 30%
- Operational support includes incentive application review and processing, customer escalation management, clear project flaws, invoice review, check reports, managing check commitments and requests.
- Working as part of a team to ensure that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of residential energy efficiency projects are successfully executed in the New Mexico market.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
- 2+ years of related work experience
What we would like you to have:
- Knowledge of energy efficient space and water heating equipment
- Familiarity with building principles, energy audits, and energy savings calculation
- Knowledge of residential energy modeling
- Experience working on successful energy efficiency program
- Utility experience and understanding of Demand Side Management (DSM) program implementation
Professional Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of basic business principles and successful business practices/strategies
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and excellent self-motivation skills are required
- Ability, expectation, and responsibility to work independently with minimum supervision
- Utility experience or working on successful energy efficiency program
- Familiarity with ENERGY STAR, and other program platforms
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients, contractors, and HVAC organizations
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn ICF energy efficiency database/project tracking system

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
