Why this job is exciting
This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role with the Professional Services organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of the project management team while directly overseeing a select number of client projects. As a “player-coach,” this role blends tactical project delivery with strategic team leadership—driving high-quality execution, team development, and operational excellence.
This position requires a collaborative leader who can drive consistency in project delivery, support continuous improvement, and foster a client-focused, performance-oriented culture.

- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development for the PM team, ensuring skill progression and succession planning.
- Lead regular team meetings, retrospectives, and performance reviews to drive transparency and team alignment.
- Personally manage a portfolio of client projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Define and maintain project plans, track milestones, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a high level of client engagement, ensuring expectations are managed and exceeded.
- Support and guide project teams in adhering to standardized methodologies, documentation practices, and reporting expectations.
- Apply lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional IT projects and implementations, ideally within a
- Professional Services setting.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices—including familiarity with the PMI framework.
- Experience using project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), and managed services delivery models is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high levels of quality and client satisfaction.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Professional maturity, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet project and team demands.
Pay and Benefits
This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.
Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
