Compensation                   $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp./Equity - Range may vary based on experience.  

Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is involved with building relationships globally with Research & Development managers to understand departmental needs, sourcing, pipeling and screening resumes for specialized skills, and conducting interviews using both structured and agile methods. The role includes collaborating with global leaders to forecast hiring requirements, managing candidate communication through ATS, crafting job postings, and identifying effective job advertising channels. Representing the company at recruitment events and providing support to the HR department are also key responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers to understand departmental needs
  • Source, pipeline and screen resumes to evaluate specialized skills and qualifications
  • Conduct interviews using various methodologies (e.g., structured, technical assessments, behavioral questions)
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to anticipate departmental goals and hiring requirements
  • Establish timelines and objectives in partnership with hiring managers
  • Utilize ATS to screen, assess, and communicate with candidates effectively
  • Craft job postings that accurately reflect job criteria and company culture
  • Determine optimal channels for promoting job openings, including professional associations, job boards, social media platforms, and recruitment events
  • Represent the company at external recruitment events such as campus fairs, job fairs, and IT networking gatherings
  • Manage applicant responses and coordinate interview schedules for hiring managers
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Provide support to the HR department in various capacities as required

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in global recruiting, with a focus on demonstrated success in R&D roles.
  • Familiarity with recruitment and hiring systems; experience with ATS preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a Windows environment.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws, and GDPR regulatory requirements.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, particularly within the software or technology industry
