The Systems Engineer (Treatment Planning Software), must have exceptional technical expertise and customer service skills, take initiative and should be capable of working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
As a member of Brachytherapy Implementations team, the Systems Engineer is expected to independently install, upgrade, and support Treatment Planning Systems. The Systems engineer is expected to work closely with the PSC on new feature roll outs and train the brachytherapy applications team and service team as needed.
Responsibilities
Regularly performs on-site treatment planning system installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in hospitals, clinics, and datacenters throughout North America.
Answers customer support phone calls relating to TPS systems and hardware issues.
Builds, tests, and maintains hardware systems inventory.
Installs, administers, supports and troubleshoots HP workstations and peripherals, servers, enterprise backup NAS storage hardware.
Support Field Service team
System administration of CentOS, RedHat, Windows, Citrix and Windows Server Operating systems.
Troubleshoots TPS performance, networking, Citrix, and virtualization problems.
Aid in security assessments from hospital IT groups as needed for GPO team.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience (majors in Computer Science and IT preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent troubleshooting skills;
Ability to Travel up to 50% of the time;
Knowledge of healthcare information systems or previous software training / support experience strongly
desired;
Strong technical skills in the area of PC/Network Computing, Citrix, Windows, Linux, and network
administration.
Ability to rapidly identify and resolve issues under pressure;
Ability to effectively interact with customers and co-workers;
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well organized;
Can handle multiple tasks with clear sense of ownership and priority;
MCSE/CCNA/CCA certifications a plus;
Strong understanding of VMware environments and Citrix a plus;

The US base salary range for this position is $128,000 - $148,000
