Location: Ideal candidate would be able to commute to the Washington DC office, but will consider fully remote for the right candidate.

Leidos DSI is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to add immediate value in supporting our flagship product in the U.S. House of Representatives. We serve high profile customers including all branches of federal, state, and local government, as well as commercial clients. Leidos DSI delivers industry-leading digital communications and workflow software along with excellent customer support.

The Challenge:

• Hands-on management of daily operations of our flagship application, Intranet Quorum, in the Congressional market.
• Monitor application and database performance to identify and correct potential issues before disruption occurs
• Work with a team of experienced engineers, administrators and customer facing consultants t ensure customer success

What Sets You Apart (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree with two plus (2+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance
• Experience managing complex systems and applications at enterprise scale
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accountability n troubleshooting and documenting system issues
• Broad range of technical expertise including a mix of the following:
  • Windows, Active Directory, GPO
  • Familiarity with SMTP Mail servers, protocols, and standards
  • Linux/Ubuntu
  • Kubernetes/Tanzu,
  • M365/Exchange
  • Oracle databases, RMAN backups, Toad, SQL Developer
  • Nagios or similar monitoring tools for system health
• Methodical approach to system monitoring, maintenance and management tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills that allow you to foster confidence and trust as you interact with environment IT management, customers, team members
• Willingness/flexibility to perform weekend and after-hours system maintenance work
• A cool head and balanced demeanor when working in a fast-paced, demanding environment

You Might Also Have:

• Three plus (3+) years of relevant experience
• Understanding of public sector security compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53/FISMA/FedRAMP)
• AWS and/or Azure/M365 experience and/or certification
