Job description

Excel™ is seeking a dynamic SVP/EVP of Revenue to drive our revenue growth strategy. This leader will play a hands-on role in managing, optimizing, and scaling our revenue operations. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the insurance lead generation industry, a strong sales mindset, highly organized with the ability to implement efficient processes and systems to maximize performance. We need a leader who is not just a strategist but also a doer—someone who will roll up their sleeves, work alongside the team, coach, mentor, and execute. Key responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth – Develop and execute strategies to scale revenue streams, optimize conversion rates, and improve overall sales performance.
  • Hands-On Leadership – Work directly with the team, leading by example through active participation in sales processes, deal execution, and performance optimization.
  • Sales & Business Development – Build and enhance client relationships, expand partnerships, and refine sales strategies to maximize market opportunities.
  • Process & System Optimization – Design and implement efficient workflows, automation, and CRM systems to streamline operations and drive scalability.
  • Technology & Data Utilization – Leverage software, data, analytics, and automation tools to improve sales efficiency and decision-making.
  • Coaching & Team Development – Mentor, train, and develop the revenue team to enhance performance, ensuring a high-accountability, high-output culture.
  • Collaboration with Leadership – Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align revenue goals with company strategy.
  • Ensure Compliance & Ethical Standards – Maintain strong adherence to industry regulations and compliance, data privacy laws, and ethical best practices while driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise – 8-10+ years of experience in revenue leadership roles within the insurance lead generation space.
  • Proven Sales Leadership – Strong track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams with hands-on execution.
  • Tech-Savvy – Comfortable learning, managing, and implementing new sales and marketing technologies (e.g., CRM, analytics platforms, automation tools).
  • Process-Oriented & Organized – Ability to design and implement scalable systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Strong Coaching & Mentorship Skills – Passion for developing talent and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Results-Driven – Data-driven decision-making mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Entrepreneurial & Hands-On – Willingness to dive into the details and directly contribute to execution, not just strategy.
