$225,000.00/Yr. - $250,000.00/Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job
The SVP, Managing Director - Franchise Finance is responsible for leading and expanding the franchise finance division, driving strategic growth initiatives, and developing client relationships within the franchise sector. This senior leadership role will oversee a team of professionals, manage a portfolio of franchise clients, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance lending solutions and financial services. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in franchise finance, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in commercial lending and portfolio management.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the franchise finance portfolio in alignment with the company’s overall objectives
- Lead a team of relationship managers, underwriters, and support staff, ensuring high performance, client satisfaction, and business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise operators, franchisors, and industry stakeholders to drive new business opportunities
- Oversee credit risk management, ensuring prudent underwriting practices and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, legal, and operations, to streamline processes and enhance client service delivery
- Identify market trends and develop innovative financial solutions to support franchise clients’ growth and expansion
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership
- Monitor portfolio performance, manage risk exposure, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling of financial products and services, including treasury management, merchant services, and capital markets solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in commercial lending, with a strong focus on franchise finance
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and driving business development efforts
- Extensive knowledge of franchise business models, industry dynamics, and lending structures
- Strong credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management skills
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation abilities
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in commercial lending
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically while executing operational initiatives
