This individual contributor role will be responsible for profitable growth in the agricultural chemical and fertilizer markets across the United States. This position is responsible for driving organizational performance by leading market-based product direction with Nutrien strategic accounts.
This position will be posted from December 20, 2024 - January 3, 2025.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with sales team members via field calls and presentations to develop and implement pro-active initiatives with customer.
- Continuously employ a laser focus on retaining and increasing revenue.
- Utilize Segmentation and Bid assistance tool for price builds and bid management. Review and analyze program performance with associated PowerApps.
- Support pricing, inventory, and related initiatives by acquiring reliable market intelligence, maintaining accurate and current pricing structures, and providing ongoing outreach to vendors and key field contacts.
- Develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external product suppliers and procurement team members.
- Coordinate with legal team by providing timely and accurate contract support for suppliers and customers.
- As needed, advise strategic accounts in efficient and profitable approaches to work.
What you wil bring:
- Competentcy in developing and maintaining partnerships both internally and externally to achieve a common goal.
- Efficient time management techniques, maximizing results.
- Clear and effective decision making, with emphasis on a data driven, analytical approach.
- Effective negotiation methods that employ empathy, tact, credibility, and mutual benefit.
- Proficiency in using Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Competent in applying ethical criteria in situations requiring sound judgement.
- Comprehensive understanding of the product life cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical sales, procurement, or marketing.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $105,300 - $195,600/annually. This range is estimated for Strategic Supply Manager in the State of Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
