Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Partnerships Relationship Manager professional to join our North American team to help grow and operationalize our Partnership program. You have ideally been working in business development and partner activation within the technology and financial services sector and understand strategic accounts. You will be given ownership against a few strategic accounts, the direction and products to be successful, but you will also bring our own ideas to the role. You will have responsibility to maintain positive standings with the partners, generate incremental revenue growth and renewals.

OFX supports a hybrid working arrangement (working remotely is highly supported however this role will be required to be available to work from the local office as required i.e. a minimum of once per week or as needed to meet the needs of the client group.  Ability to travel on occasion (i.e. 1-2 times annually) within NA is required.

What you’ll do:

  •  Establish executive relationships with Partnership accounts and inspire strategic thinking related to OFX's product with senior professionals and their teams.
  • Based on client requirements and OFX sales targets, coordinate all aspects of making the client experience positive and recurring.
  • Responsible for development and execution of a comprehensive support model and program management framework for key partnerships to ensure seamless execution, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services (internal and external).
  • Take initiative to assist and collaborate with other team members to reach your collective goals.
  • Work closely with the Head of Partnerships and coordinate actions to make sure that there is a cohesive account strategy and action plans for key partnerships.
  • Drive product innovation and enhancement initiatives to overcome risks/blockers and deliver solutions that align with and support the OFX's overarching Partnership strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to develop compelling content, messaging, and program support materials that resonate with target audiences and drive demand for the OFX service for key partnerships.
  • Engage with compliance and legal to ensure all aspects of the program (solution/product, sales/marketing, processes, and frameworks) adhere to OFX standards and are approved/documented with all stakeholders.
  • Build strong and efficient relationships with colleagues and engage internal expertise when needed at client meetings.
  • Accurately and systematically document and record relevant information in relevant systems (Salesforce, Confluence, Box, etc).
  • Oversee the operational cadence of critical partner relationships, acting as a central point of contact to proactively address needs and concerns from both internal teams and external partner organizations.
  • Meet personal and support team revenue targets through effective planning and execution of sales activities with key partnerships.
  • Provide updates and monthly projections and quarterly committed forecasts of sales activity and volume to monitor the overall success of Partnerships NA.
  • Creatively build new revenue opportunities with key partnerships by finding new cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

  • A passion for fintech and the business world in general.
  • An understanding of the key drivers of the Foreign Exchange market and the specialist products and tools within our offering.
  • A proven background in achieving sales targets and meeting clearly defined KPIs. 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and lateral thinking skills to problem solve and explore new ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate technical details.
  • High levels of self-motivation and desire for self-improvement.

We offer a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $137,500 – $150,000 CAD, which includes a base salary of $110,000 - $120,000 CAD complemented by a quarterly incentive plan. Our comprehensive benefits package is available to all full-time employees and part-time employees working a minimum of 24 hours per week, ensuring you receive valuable support and perks as part of your compensation.

We also offer a flexible hybrid working model where employees typically work 1-2 days from one of our North American offices (San Francisco, Toronto or Edmonton).
