The Opportunity...

We are seeking an experienced Manager to bring data-driven insights, financial modeling, and strategic initiatives to support Commvault’s long-term growth objectives. This is a critical role in building the Finance team and shaping the ongoing story of the business. This person will work closely with senior leadership across Finance, Corporate Development, and Business Operations to influence key strategic decisions.

What you'll do...

  • Support the development of long-term financial models, including scenario planning and forecasting for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the success of strategic initiatives
  • Communicate to leadership the “Why?” behind performance and results and make recommendations for improvements that will lead to operating leverage, cost efficiencies, and revenue generation
  • Partner with Corporate Development on M&A activities including valuation, due diligence, and integration modeling
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive positioning, and market dynamics to inform strategy
  • Prepare and design Board, Business, and IR materials that effectively communicates the story
  • Take ownership of deliverables and outcomes

 

Who you are...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in in Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Consulting or Corporate Development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively at varying levels and articulate financial results and performance to derive actionable recommendations
  • Partnering skills with various stakeholders in developing, communication and achievement of Operating plan/targets
  • Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Adaptive, Workday, and ERP
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Public Company experience preferred

US Pay Range$93,500—$220,800 USD
