State Association Liaison The State Association Liaison will oversee and grow MSG relationships with hospital associations and drive strategic initiatives that maximize our footprint as the exclusive workforce solutions partner in multiple states. This individual will serve as a key strategist, relationship manager, and partner advocate, focused on fostering new endorsements, enhancing current partnerships, and leveraging these relationships to drive revenue and client acquisition.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and maintain relationships with state and corporate associations within the healthcare and staffing industry, ensuring all deliverables are met and partnerships are optimized for success.• Hold associations accountable for partnership goals, ensuring mutual value is generated from the relationships.• Strategically target and infiltrate green space with associations where no current partnerships exist.• Build a portfolio of new endorsed partnerships for our portfolio of workforce solutions.• Leverage existing brand relationships to establish new endorsements in non-affiliated states.• Collaborate with association leaders to strategize ways to increase revenue share, member participation, and brand influence.• Monitor partnership performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.• Use association relationships to facilitate introductions to new clients and target hospitals, driving client acquisition through these partnerships.• Identify key target clients and coordinate with internal teams to capitalize on association referrals.• Strategically position the organization as the workforce solutions partner of choice in all partner states .• Collaborate with internal business partners in Marketing, Client, and Tech to ensure we meet the needs of clients and associations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university• 5+ years of business development experience, with a focus on selling into state and corporate associations.• Strong understanding of workforce solutions and healthcare industry trends.• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders• Experience in negotiating and securing endorsements or sponsorship agreements.• Proven ability to develop client relationships at strategic and tactical levels, successfully executing against measurable metrics.• Commitment and experience following a consistent sales methodology.• Strong listening and questioning skills, ability to interpret complex information to determine target needs, wants, and buying preferences, ability to establish trust and persuasively articulate unique selling points, customizing content to the specific buyer. Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.• Experience working in a multi-collaborative team environment and ability to create alignment with internal stakeholders.• Ability to travel as required to meet with associations and key stakeholders.
Job Preferences:• Advanced degree preferred• Experience in Healthcare Staffing or Medical field is preferred
