Pinterest is looking for a Staff Qualitative Product Researcher to lead research on our curation experiences (e.g., boards and saving). Weâre looking for an experienced researcher who can lead, design, execute, and communicate impactful research, and work with crossfunctional partners to make decisions and guide the product strategy.
Curation is at the heart of the Pinterest product. Youâll lead research that informs whatâs next in this spaceâmaking it easier for Pinners to get back to and take action on the ideas theyâve saved.Â

What youâll do:
- Prioritize and conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodologies across multiple work streams, making sure to work on the right project at the right time
- Select and communicate the appropriate method or mix of methods (ranging from usability testing, diary studies, semi-structured interviews, participatory workshops, and everything in between) to answer questions for product teams or the broader company
- Collaborate closely with other researchers to partner on projects, synthesize findings across studies, and produce POVs
- Build strong relationships as a strategic partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Content Design, and Analytics to identify high impact work and ensure it lands within teams
- Lead research projects from beginning to end (define study goals, align on research questions, construct a research âŚ
