We are looking for a hybrid UXR & Research Operations role to join our Research team at 1Password, to support our UX research, customer insights programs, and research operational needs of the organization. 
The ideal candidate brings a customer-first approach to the table. This person is self-motivated, highly curious, and has a passion for both UX research programs and is skilled at participant recruitment & management and vendor partnerships. You not only have the experience in conducting end-to-end research studies using mixed methods in a software environment, but you know first-hand how to stand up and run organizational-wide research programs and processes to bring research insights to the rest of the organization in an actionable, structured, and scalable manner.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

  • Research Programs Experience & Competencies
  • 3+ years of relevant UX research experience, in a software development or technology environment. Cybersecurity experience is a bonus
  • Strong UX research portfolio that demonstrates meaningful business impact
  • A proven track record of leveraging UX research and insights that drove both short-term tactical impact and help set long-term product vision and direction for the business
  • Experience orchestrating and leading a variety of department-wide or organization-wide research and measurement programs such as Win/Loss, Voice of the Customer (VoC), Customer Experience Measurement (CXM), NPS, etc.
  • Experience with quantitative research methods (quant survey design and analysis, etc.), A/B testing & experimentation, product analytics data and measurements a bonus
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (PMs, Designers, PMMs, CSMs, etc.) to collect internal and external data, socialize and evangelize research findings in an actionable manner
  • Ability to efficiently analyze qualitative and quantitative data using industry best practices
  • You collaborate using strong communication, written documentation and facilitation skills
  • Awareness of the top-level business data, and you use it to contextualize your work
